HUSBAND GAVE WIFE ACID BATH IN ANAMBRA

People could be so disheartening, this young lady (name withheld) got this acid bath yesterday from a man who claimed to be her husband. It was said that the devil of a man impregnated the lady and was compelled by her family members to marry her.
Left with no other option, he took the girl in even without completing the marital introductory rites. The young girl was said to have eventually given birth to a baby boy, that notwithstanding the relationhip was nothing to write home about as the girl was gradually converted to a punchbag. Fed up with the hell of a marriage, she told the family what she has been passing through, they asked her to leave man and find a life.
The hooligan didn't come to terms with that decision and swore that if he can't have the lady, no other man can.
An eye witness reported that the lady was set for work at 6am yesterday, she was only climbing down the stairs when the man appeared from nowhere, gave her an acid bath and disappeared immediately. She was hastily rushed to National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu.
